Job description

The Head Teacher of an East Riding secondary school is looking to recruit a Good or Outstanding Geography Teacher. This position will commence on 16th April 2018 and run in the first instance until the end of the summer term in July 2018. A contract from September 2018 may offered for the next academic year.

Located approximately 18 miles to the east of Hull, this 'Good' School serves the population of southern Holderness and currently provides education to around 800 pupils aged 11 to 18.

To be considered for this position you will be a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Geography Teacher with recent experience in teaching Geography to GCSE level. A-level teaching experience would also be advantageous although not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
