A co-educational secondary school located in the heart of Warrington is looking to recruit a Geography teacher to start with them at the beginning of the new academic year. This is an open permanent vacancy within this with this good rated secondary school joining a successful Geography and Humanities department. The successful Geography teacher should be experienced at teaching up to GCSE level with applications being encouraged from newly qualified teachers and those of more experience.

The Head of Humanities is looking for a passionate Geography teacher to join this large department encompassing Geography, History and Religious Education. Teaching high quality lessons is paramount, ensuring students are engaged at all levels and stretched and challenged accordingly. The appointed Geography teacher should therefore be an excellent classroom practitioner, able to teach dynamic lessons. As this school is a good rated school, it is oversubscribed being a popular choice with pupils and parents alike. Senior leadership has also been highlighted as effective and instrumental in pushing this school to being a good school.

The school is located in the heart of Warrington making it very easy to access for all teachers. The local train station is a short distance away from this school making it very easy to commute to for any Geographers on public transport. The M6 and M62 are also very closeby, making it very easy to get to for any teacher travelling from surrounding areas including Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester. The school boasts fantastic facilities and is an integral part of the local community.

The school is part of a reputable trust of schools within the area which prides itself on providing the best education to students. Students are engaged with school life and are keen to learn with a thirst for knowledge and therefore behaviour is considered of a high standard.
