Geography Teacher

Job description

Are you a Geography Teacher with experience teaching up to GCSE level?

I am currently recruiting a qualified Teacher of Geography to work in a school located on the West of Hull. The school is headed up by a strong SLT and boasts results well above the national average each year. They were graded 'good' in their most recent OFSTED observation and praised for their behaviour management and support links.

The role will involve teaching Geography to KS3 and KS4, on a full time basis (although part time job shares will be considered). Ideally, the role will be to begin after February Half Term, but this is negotiable with the school for the ideal candidate. The role is currently vacant due to a prior teacher taking a step up into middle management and dropping their teaching hours.

To be successful in this Geography teaching position you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Subject specialism: Geography
  • Experience delivering Geography up to GCSE level following the National Curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • An outgoing personality and good sense of humour

NQT's are encouraged to apply.

To apply, or for further information, please upload a copy of your most recent CV.
