Bolton based secondary school looking for a Geography teacher to cover a maternity gap forecasted in October 2018.

• Full time Geography teacher - Maternity cover from October 2018.
• Position commencing after the October half-term and will continue until the end of the school year (2018/2019).
• Ofsted graded Good Secondary school located on the border of Bolton and Bury
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

This Geography teaching position is initially being offered on a temporary full time basis following the October half term break until the end of the school year (2018/2019) in order to cover a planned Maternity gap within school. The successful Geography teacher will be expected to teach across Key Stage Three and GCSE and partake in full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking.

Applications are being taken from newly qualified teachers as well as experienced teachers.

The Head of Humanities at our client Secondary school has highlighted that they would like to appoint a Geography teacher who is comfortable teaching the subject up to GCSE Level and is able to set high expectations of pupils and what they can achieve in class. The school has seen a recent drop of students enrolling onto the subject Geography at GCSE level so would like to appoint an enthusiastic individual that can increase the popularity of the subject Geography within school.
