Geography Teacher

A highly reputable, ‘Good’ rated secondary school based in the Sale/Altrincham area of Trafford is looking to recruit a Geography teacher to fulfil a maternity cover from March 13^th. Given the nature of this maternity cover, there is the possibility of the Geography teacher being able to start a phase-in role following the half term in February. The successful Geography teacher will be teaching Geography Year 7 to 10 for the remainder of the academic year (with the option of including some year 11 classes) and possibility this could continue into the new 2020-2021 academic year aswell.

This is a full time Geography teaching position for 1 term at a ‘Good’ rated school in its latest Ofsted inspection. This role will involve planning and marking responsibilities whilst teaching at this highly reputable secondary school.

The school is located in the Sale/Altrincham area of Trafford making it very easily accessible from the city centre being on the tram line as well as being well serviced by local buses. For those driving, the school is easily accessible via the local M60 and M56 motorway networks and is in a relatively quiet area with minimal traffic. The school is also easy to get to from the Stockport and East Warrington area. The school has fantastic facilities with approximately 1500 students between year 7 and 11. The school has a large secured car park for use by all staff.
