General Teaching Assistant Required in LS25

Job description

We are now seeking to appoint exceptional Teaching Assistants with a range of proven skills and abilities including supporting SEN, who are ambitious, passionate, committed and inspiring who will ensure that all our children have high expectations and believe that learning never stops.

We are looking for the following candidates:

  • Has experience working with children
  • Highly driven with a passion to succeed
  • Passionate about Safeguarding
  • Comfortable working with children
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent Communicator
  • Confident working as part of a team
  • Able to work Monday - Friday
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)

The school is based in LS25 and has a great leadership team who are happy to support staff in all areas.

Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
