We support various primary schools in the York, Selby and surrounding areas with their recruitment for general and specialist support staff. At present, as we enter into the summer term, we are having a huge demand for additional general Teaching Assistants.

One of our client schools has approached us to help them secure a GTA to support across KS1 from now until the end of the summer term. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification; be committed to delivering an enthusiastic and engaging learning environment and also be able to support pupils who are low ability and require additional nurture and support. You should have basic knowledge of the core curriculum subjects and be confident in your approach to working with children and behaviour management.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
