Part time Science post September

Due to a restructure within the Science department our client secondary school located in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of Science to join their team. This position is on a part time basis for the full academic year starting in September.

Our client secondary school is situated in Oldham close to Chadderton, the school serves a diverse catchment area with a large proportion of students coming from Middleton and Royton. This is a larger than average secondary school with over 1400 students currently on roll. Over recent years there has been a transformation in regards to the standards of teaching, learning and behaviour, with behaviour across the school being recognised as positive due to the student’s respectful nature to staff and pupils. In 2016, Ofsted graded the school ‘Good’ across all areas and praised the head teacher and leaders for their supportive approach to students and staff.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
