Science teacher – Manchester
An inner city Secondary school have expressed a need in their Science department for a teacher of Science. The position is a full time role to start immediately on a temporary basis. The teacher of Science needs to have experience with KS3 and KS4 students.
Teaching personnel work on the behalf of the inner city school and due to a long term illness of a faculty member the school are looking a teacher of Science to join the faculty. The successful teacher of Science will be working with a supportive faculty were any teacher of Science would be welcome. The school is in a diverse area were pupil premium is well above national average. The school can come across some challenging behaviour and the successful teacher of Science needs to have excellent behaviour management and a strong classroom presence. The role of the Science teacher at the school is a rewarding position were the teacher can see the progression of the children. With a large percentage of the students having English as an additional language previous experience with EAL students can be highly beneficial. The schools population is 911 pupils on roll and has recently undertaken development and there a looking for a teacher of Science to help take progression through the Science department.

Newly qualified and experienced teachers are welcome to apply for the position. Ideally to be considered for the position the teacher of Science will have a DBS certificate and be able to provide suitable references so they can be cleared for work. The school are looking for a teacher of Science to help generate the next generation into valuable members of society.
