Science teacher - Tameside

  • Paid to your scale point M1-UPS
  • Working within a supportive school with excellent senior leadership
  • Full time Science post to July 2017

Secondary school in Tameside are looking for a Science teacher to commence a post in January. This is a full time post for 2 terms to the end of the academic year. You will be working within a successful Science department with exceptional senior leadership.

The post will consist of KS3-KS4 Science teaching across the Science curriculum. If you are a Science teacher coming to the end of a post or looking for a new long term supply position apply today to be considered.

The school achieved in line with academic performances across the borough but are looking to achieve in or above national averages. With just over 700 pupils the school are looking for an inspirational Science teacher who will take on full responsibilities of planning, marking and assisting improving an established Science department. The school has a high percentage of students eligible for free school meals due to its diverse catchment area.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
