Job description

Science Teacher (FQT/NQT) Required at Secondary School - Reading

  • £160 per day minimum

A popular and oversubscribed secondary school in Reading is looking to recruit a Science teacher with either a Physics or Chemistry specialism to start in September.

The school is graded as ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and benefits from a combination of outstanding quality of teaching across all subject areas, excellent pupil behavior and good facilities across the curriculum.

The science department achieved over 75% A*- C in recent GCSE results, and they are looking for an exceptional classroom practitioner who can further build upon this success. The successful candidate must be able to provide evidence of ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ lessons – and must be fully committed to raising standards and pupil attainment in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
