Are you an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher who would like to develop your career? Is your specialism at KS5 and KS4, with mixed science taught at KS3 and some outside specialism teaching in KS4 Combined Science?
We have an exciting opportunity for two inspirational teachers to join a dedicated and progressive Science team at my client School in North Yorkshire and be part of their journey towards ‘outstanding’.
My client school are seeking to recruit two committed Science teachers, one of whom must specialise in Biology. You will be able to display high standards of teaching and learning in order to enthuse and engage their students and support them in making good progress. You will have a passion for your specialism and for all Sciences and the ability to inspire students across all key stages.
You will be keen to develop your own classroom practice and leadership, perhaps by taking the role of Second in Science, with responsibility for leading your own subject at A-level, as well as for another area of the Science leadership responsibilities.
The School is 20-30 minutes by car from York, and is also commutable from Leeds and Middlesbrough.
The successful candidate will be:
- A good or outstanding teacher committed to teaching and learning that leads to good outcomes;
- Experienced in teaching A-level in your specialism, or will have the ability and ambition to teach A-Level in your specialism;
- An effective and positive team player;
- Able to bring high level skills to the faculty and have the enthusiasm to move the school forward.
