Our client school located in Leyland seek to appoint a Science teacher from ASAP. This is a full time position whereby the successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain a permanent position.

- Full time position from ASAP

- Initially until Christmas, with view to appointing ideal candidate on a permanent basis

- High achieving Science department

- Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' with 'Outstanding' pupil behaviour

- £22,244 - £37,871(MPS/UPS)

Due to an unexpected absence, this excellent school located on the outskirts of Leyland seek to appoint a Science Teacher ahead of the new academic year.

This post requires a Science teacher who can match the high expectations of the school and become a committed member of this high achieving and consistently improving department. The head of department seeks to appoint a Science teacher who can consistently provide 'Good' and 'Outstanding' practice to impact the progress of pupils of all abilities. You will be given your own well resourced classroom boasting interactive whiteboards which are well kept and respected by pupils. The school welcome newly qualified teachers to apply for this post and if successful you will receive full support in completing your induction.

The school is average in size with around 900 pupils on roll. The vast majority of children are of white British heritage and the number of pupils with learning difficulties or a statement for special needs is below the national average.

The successful candidate MUST have:

- Valid UK PGCE with QTS

- Experience of teaching all Sciences of KS3/4 up to GCSE level

- The ability to deliver 'good' to 'outstanding' lessons
