Based in the South West London borough, close to excellent transport links, this large secondary school is opening its doors once more for an ambitious and motivated individual to become a teaching assistant in their learning support team. The support team here is a pivotal part of the school community and as a teaching assistant you will play a valuable role in the students learning.

The Teaching Assistant Role:

•Classroom support teaching assistant.

•Running 'break out' Small Intervention groups - Literacy & Numeracy provision.

•One to one support with lower ability pupils.

•General School duties

The Headteacher and SEN Coordinator are dedicated to embracing energetic and driven people keen to progress into a career in teaching. Working closely with Academics, a large portion of the schools teaching assistant / learning support assistant staffs each year are graduates that take up the teaching assistant mantle to develop and hone their abilities in the classroom. As a training school this is the perfect platform for learning.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
