A PRU in the Oxfordshire area are looking for a part time teacher to start with them in September. The school caters for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, Autism, Anxiety and ADHD. and therefore prior experience of working with students with additional needs would be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be available 2/3 days a week, feel confident with delivering core subjects, working on a one to one basis and following the national curriculum.
Qualifications Required:
• Qualified teacher status.
• Education to degree level (or equivalent experience)
Main duties and responsibilities:
• To keep up to date and have awareness of current, significant initiatives in education and in the teaching of your subjects.
• To liaise with your line manager to ensure the creation, consistent implementation and improvement of courses and
schemes of work so that they are accessible to pupils and provide appropriate challenges for all pupils.
• To differentiate within the classroom to meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of abilities and specific learning difficulties.
