Year 1 Teacher required for January 2017 start within a central Burnley Primary School.

  • Classroom based experience and excellent references within the last twelve are essential for this role.
  • Year 1 class teacher position covering from January until February 2017, with the opportunity to extend further.
  • Experience planning, delivering and assessing intense Literacy and Numeracy boosters is highly sought after for this role.

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a ‘Good’ Central Burnley Primary School to assist with staffing changes in the new academic year. The school is specifically looking for an experienced Year 1 Teacher to plan, deliver and assess the full KS1 Framework to a class of 28 mixed ability pupils.

The school currently use Ruth Miskin, ‘Read, Write, Inc’ Phonics in school, so experience using this scheme is highly sought after. There is a focus on Literacy and Numeracy Booster sessions, so a proven track record of raising attainment is desirable.

Classroom based references and experience form within the last 12 months is essential for this role.

This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour. The role is to start in January 2017 and run until at least February 2017 with the opportunity to extend further.
