General Cover Supervising Manchester, Oldham and Rochdale

  • Both Full time and Part time Cover Supervising positions available
  • Work in a range of different schools in Manchester, Rochdale and Oldham
  • Get paid between £50- £60 a day dependant on experience

Are you a graduating wishing to pursue a career in secondary education? Do you want to enhance your experience prior to starting a teacher training programme?

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of secondary schools in Central Manchester, Oldham and Rochdale to provide them with both full time and flexible Cover Supervisors from September 2017.

• Full time, Part time and Flexible Cover Supervisor post available

• Experience working in a range of differnet secondary schools to gain an in depth knowledge

• Get paid between £50-£60 a day depending on your experience

• Develop an understanding of different teaching and behaviour management strategies

As a Cover supervisor you will be responsible for covering a range of lessons in the absence of the teacher, including your own subject specialism, supporting identified students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to raise attainment and managing students behaviour during lessons. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience prior to starting your teacher training programme.

The successful cover supervisor will have/be able;

• Comfortable with English and Mathematics (GCSE grade minimum)

• Previous experience working with young people in an education or sports coach setting

• Be able to build report and engage students during lessons

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
