General Cover Supervisor

  • Full time General Cover Supervisor, starting in September 2017
  • Deliver pre-set work in the absence of the teacher
  • Get paid between £50-£60 dependant on experience

Are you a graduate aspiring to become a secondary teacher? Do you have previous experience working with students aged 11-16 in an educational setting?

Our client secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a full time Cover Supervisor to start in September; this is initially on a temporary contract with an opportunity to become permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience prior to applying for a teacher training programme.

The school is located in Oldham, boarding the East of Manchester; the school is easily accessible via a range of public transport links from the city centre and is also a short drive from the M60 motorway. The school is a modern build with state of the art facilities providing an environment that student can thrive in and where both the staff and students are able to benefit from the excellent provisions and resources for learning.

The incoming Cover Supervisor will have previous experience working with youths ages 11-16 and will be confident in building report with students to keep them motivated, as well as excellent behaviour management skills.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
