Our client secondary school is currently seeking a General Cover Supervisor on a full time basis to start in September. This is the perfect opportunity for any graduates wanting to enhance their experience prior to starting a teacher training course.

This is an 11-16 years mixed comprehensive secondary school located in Wardle, in a semi rural setting and serves the local community; Wardle, Dearnley, Littleborough and Smith Bridge. The school is situated close to the M62 and is easily accessible via public transport links. This is a larger than average secondary school with over 1100 students currently on roll which is set to increase with the new cohort of Year 7 students.

As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for covering a variety of pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the teacher, building report with the students to ensure they are motivated and stay on task and providing feedback to the teacher on the progress of the class.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
