Cover Supervisor – Manchester

Have you got experience with children and young adults? Do you want to gain experience in Secondary schools? Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a school in Manchester who are looking to appoint a general Cover Supervisor to cover lessons in the absence of teachers. The position is available full time or part time dependent on the successful applicant. Initially the position will be on a temporary basis with the chances for the role to become permanent.

The Manchester Secondary school is part of a multi academy trust with a support network perfect for any aspirin teacher. The role of the Cover supervisor is to cover lessons in the absence of the permanent member of staff. The Cover supervisor will be teaching from pre set work and it would be a case of classroom management. Experienced gained from the role of the Cover supervisor is invaluable for any budding teacher. The Cover supervisor will be working in a school in Manchester which is newly refurbished and has state of the art facilities. The school is located in the heart of Manchester with excellent transportation links to the school. The Manchester school is located in a vibrant and diverse area. With having been built in the heart of a community the school attracts children from the local community which makes the school have a real community feel.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
