Cover Supervisor required for September 2017

A large Secondary School in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible basis, joining their dynamic team. The school is located in near Great Yarmouth and is easily accessible via private or public transport.

The school has around 1100 pupils on role and was graded as a ‘Good’ School by Ofsted in April 2016. They have a large site with modern facilities and strong ties to the community also. All the Teachers have a vision to reach ‘Outstanding’ status in their next Ofsted inspection, and they are looking for someone to join the team who can contribute to this vision. The School is a large Secondary School with fantastic, modern facilities.

The role will involve covering classes in the absence of the Teacher, including unplanned absence and/or planned absence due to the allocation of PPA time, trips, meetings, etc. Planning will also be provided. This role would be ideal if you are a Teaching Assistant, Graduate or final year student looking to take the next step in your career and gain invaluable experience within secondary education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
