We are looking to help Graduates get into Secondary Schools by providing work experience opportunities that will help you gain insight into the way schools run, the level of teaching required & the experience to help you pursue a career in Teaching.
A large school in Peterborough is looking for Graduates to join there dynamic team. As a School they are dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding, by encouraging & celebrating diversity & developing understanding through curiosity & empathy. This vision is integrated into all aspects of teaching & learning, whilst using innovative & modern strategies to engage students so that they can develop confidence to explore new ideas & develop self growth.
To be successful in a role as a Secondary Graduate Teacher you must have the following:
- A degree, ideally in a subject specialism within the core curriculum, although not essential.
- A passion for education
- Good rapport with young people
- A solid academic record
Teaching Personnel will be working with the school to provide you with an experience & insight into secondary education Teaching. During your time at the school, you will be inducted & shown the school’s policies & procedures, with a guided tour. You will have the opportunity to shadow a Teacher &/or Cover Supervisor to observe how they utilise their skill set to deliver lessons. You will also have the opportunity to cover lessons, & utilize your own skill set in order to keep classes engaged & focused.
