Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based between Garstang and Preston which caters for KS3 and KS4 pupils who have behavioural difficulties, special educational needs and pupils who cannot remain in mainstream education for various reasons. The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic and enthusiastic candidate who is looking for their next step in their career. The School are looking for a minimum of 2 long term staff members and it is highly likely that the role will become permanent for the right candidate.
The School is smaller than average and currently has approximately 45 pupils on roll. The School are seeking a candidate to start as soon as possible and you may be asked to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil who displays very challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a candidate who can build rapport and mentor pupils who are harder to reach.
The candidate must be hard working, have a genuine passion for working with pupils who display challenging behaviours and pupils who have special educational needs. The candidate will be looking for an enthusiastic candidate who can work with their disengaged pupils.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 64 per day
