What is the Future Teacher Programme?
Teaching Personnel's Future Teacher Programme is a programme designed to support successful graduates who are considering a career in teaching. This programme will provide you with the opportunity to gain paid work experience in a local secondary school and will give you the experience needed to embark on a teacher training course in 2020.
What does the programme involve?
Through the programme, graduates are placed in one of Teaching Personnel's client secondary schools for one academic year. Our client schools are located across North, West and South Manchester.
Graduates will work as a Teaching Assistant and will focus on providing support in their subject specialism. Over the course of the placement, graduates will undertake a range of tasks from one to one tuition to planning and creating resources for lessons. All graduates will be supported by the schools senior leadership team and will receive ongoing support from Teaching Personnel.
How do I apply for the Future Teacher Programme?
To apply for the Future Teacher Programme, you must be a recent graduate from University and must be available for the full academic year 19/20 (term time only). We welcome applicants from graduates of all subject specialisms with a focus on English, Maths, Science, Humanities and Languages.
