Calling all aspiring teachers - are you looking for paid hands on experience within a Salford Secondary school from September 2019?

Teaching Personnel are currently in the process of recruiting Graduates for the Future Teachers programme for our Salford based Partner Secondary School for the new academic year 2019-2020.

The incoming graduates can expect to develop a foundation of strong experience prior to training to teach, whiles gaining a valuable understanding of the education sector and your role within the teaching and learning of young people.

  • Full time Future Teachers programme, required for a Salford Secondary School from September 2019 until the end of the academic year.
  • Previous experience supporting young people within an education capacity is highly desired.
  • Flexibility to support across all subjects at Key Stages 3 & 4 is essential due to the nature of the position.
  • Opportunity to work in an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary School with access to CPD Training programmes which including effective behaviour management, preparation for teaching, assessment for learning and differentiation etc.
  • Earn up from £1300+ per month.

The role for the successful Graduates will include completing a full academic year of PAID work, through 1:1 support; small group based intervention and or tutoring, along side delivering pre-planned lessons where required.

Based in the heart of Salford City Centre, this school has built up a strong reputation as a 'Good' school which is well respected throughout this region of Salford. With just over 700 pupils on roll aged 11-16, the Graduate Teaching Assistant will be joining a growing secondary school amongst a strong staff team.

Salford is easily accessible via the M60 and the A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also various public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
