Future Teacher of English (Salaried Two-Year Programme)

About the Role
As a Future Teacher of English, you’ll be an integral part of the English Department from day one. Working alongside experienced teachers and mentors, you’ll support lessons, work with students in small groups, and gradually take on more teaching responsibilities as your confidence and skills grow.
You’ll receive ongoing professional development and tailored support, ensuring you’re fully prepared to qualify as an English teacher by the end of the two-year programme.
This is a salaried training role, offering you the chance to learn, earn, and teach – all at the same time.
What We’re Looking For

A degree in English or a related subject (required)

Some experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desired)

A genuine passion for literature, language, and helping students reach their potential

Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

Commitment to completing the two-year training programme and achieving QTS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
