Fully Qualified Year 2 Teacher Needed for Easter Start (KS1)

Year 2 Position

Teaching Personnel are in partnership with a primary school situated in NG6 area of Nottingham City. The Ofsted rated 'outstanding' school are looking to recruit a full time teacher for their Year 2 class to start in April 2018. We are keen find the an enthusiastic and professional candidate that is passionate and willing to go the extra mile to engage and develop the children they're working with.

The school will be looking to take the successful candidate on to a permanent contract at the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will receive all the necessary support including, two experienced TAs to help support you in class, an intervention teacher to work with small groups before SATS ,additional CPD and PPA time.

An exceptional candidate will clearly demonstrate:

  • A commitment towards child learning and development
  • Has to be willing to take full class teaching responsibilities such as planning, marking, assessment reports and parents evenings
  • Experience of preparing children for SATS (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum
  • Ability to pitch lessons to a range of abilities
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a controlled and nurturing manor
  • The ability to motivate, lead and inspire colleagues.
  • High aspirations for all children and a desire to raise and maintain attainment

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
