1-1 Tutors required - Milton Keynes
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for specialist 1-1 Tutors to work with children/young people that are unable to attend mainstream/SEN schools on a full time basis. Ideally we are looking to recruit Tutors in the Milton Keynes area, or Tutors who are willing to travel.
We are currently inundated with referrals and are looking for Tutors with their own transport who can cover 1:1 tuition at homes in Milton Keynes and who are able to deliver effective and engaging sessions in core subjects such as English & Maths for students across all key stages.
The perfect candidate will be reliable, able to work independently and provide positive support for pupils with a range of additional needs. This can range from Autism and Learning Difficulties, to Physical Disabilities, to Challenging Behaviour and SEMH. The role would suit a Teacher with SEN experience or a background working with Looked After Children.
Tuition usually remains in place until the student has a school placement, you can take on as much or as little tuition as you like and can manage the sessions around your own diary. If you're seeking a role within education without the hassle of extensive planning and preparation with complete flexibility, this could be perfect for you.
The ideal candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification. You will need experience in a classroom environment ideally with students with SEN and/or Challenging Behaviour. You will also need to have the following:
- Strong track record of raising levels of achievement and motivation
- Able to deliver core subjects at primary and/or secondary level
- Have an engaging and interactive personality
- A Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service
- Valid Right To Work in the UK
- A minimum of two applicable references
In return you will receive:
- Ongoing support from an experienced Recruitment Consultant
- Competitive hourly rates of pay (£20-£25 per hour)
- The opportunity to take on as many or as few referrals as you like
- Weekly pay
- Additional training and development opportunities
If you meet the above criteria and are interested in providing tuition across Milton Keynes then please call Sam on 01604 521215 or click apply now and await a call from myself. You can also send a copy of your CV
