Are you a qualified secondary teacher seeking work in Hull? Are you seeking part time or full time positions to begin April 2019? If so, Teaching Personnel are working with numerous Secondary schools who are recruiting temporary and full time members of staff!

As a secondary school teacher you will be required to support KS3-KS4 classes. Teaching the national curriculum you will need to plan lessons in line with the national objectives and must keep up to date with developments in your subject area.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
  • Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils progress and development
  • Researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge and devising new curriculum materials
  • Preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations
  • Supervising and supporting the work of teaching assistants
  • Undergoing regular observations and participating in regular training and CPD courses

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE/ or equivalent teaching degree
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience working within secondary schools
  • Subject specialism in either: English, Maths, Science, Computer Science, Humanities (History, Geography or Religious Education)
  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on Update Service or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel

It is also desired that you have a Full Valid UK Driving License and access to own vehicle as you will be required to commute across Hull.

Location: Hull

Pay: £120 - £160 per day

Contract: Temporary full time with permanent positions available for the right candidate

These posts are due to start in April 2019 and therefore interviews are being held during January 2019.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
