Full Time Teaching Assistant SEMH

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit two full time teaching assistants in the Chichester area who have experience with special needs students. Candidates with experience with both Primary and Secondary pupils may enter, as there is positions in both. The successful candidate will be joining a team of teachers and support workers all experienced with supporting special needs students through their specific requirements in the Social, Emotional and Mental Health educational sector.

Candidates that are traditionally suited to the role have an understanding or experience with any of the following:

  • SEN experience
  • Care worker
  • Youth offending services
  • Challenging behaviour within family
  • Mentoring
  • Psychology

The Role:

- Hours 8:30am - 3:30pm

- Monday - Friday

- Salary: earning potential of up to £300 per week (£54.00 - £65.00 per day dependent on experience and qualifications)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
