Full time Science teaching job in Plymouth

Job description

A secondary school in Plymouth are looking to appoint a well-qualified Science teacher to work on a full time basis teaching key stage 3 and key stage 4 students. The school is in Plymouth and have excellent resources and a supportive, rewarding Science department. This position is to start at Easter 2019 and will be a temporary job with a possibility to become permanent. You will be working closely with the head of department in order to plan and prepare the Science lessons, if you have experience in teaching at A-Level then there is a possibility this could be considered at this school.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have QTS with a degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
  • Will have a passion for teaching Science
  • Will have taught up to GCSE
  • Will have excellent communication skills with staff, pupils and parents
  • NQTs are welcome to apply!
