Full Time KS2 Teaching Assistant (1:1 support)

Job description

A full time opportunity has become available for an experienced, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, to provide 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs within a mainstream KS2 class at a small primary school in York. You will be supporting a pupil in Year 5, who is working at KS1 level.

The role is to start immediately for 1 term.

This school supports all staff to be confident in their respective roles, working together as a team, co-ordinated by effective leadership.

The ideal candidate will have an open mind, a confident and outgoing nature and a true passion for working with children. Experience of working in a SEN environment is desirable but not essential; personality and the ability to engage and support young people is paramount.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
