Are you an enthusiastic individual with a degree or coaching qualification in Physical Education? Do you have experience in teaching in a school as a cover supervisor?

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced cover supervisor to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 students at a mainstream secondary school. This cover supervisor job is full time, 30 hours a week and is to start after the February half term. The duration of this role is to last until the end of the academic year, possibly even longer and a permanent contract may be offered. This school is just outside the city centre with bus links close by. They require a cover supervisor with a PE degree/ coaching qualification as some of the lessons will be to run PE practical lessons confidently. The successful candidate will also be required to cover a range of lessons such as Science, English and Maths to cover teacher PPA lessons and occasional sickness. The rates if pay for this long term, temporary job is between £75 - £85 per day dependant on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have a Physical Education degree or coaching qualification
  • Must have experience teaching and supporting children between the age of 11-16 years old
  • Will ideally have experience as a cover supervisor however you may have a background as a 1:1 or intervention specialist
  • May have QTS/ be an NQT and is looking for more experience before going on to do further qualifications
  • Must be able to commit to 5 days a week until the end of the academic year
