Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client school in Fleet to aid them covering a sickness in their computing and IT department.

You will be joining a highly successful and well established computing department under the leadership of an experienced head of department. With 84% of students achieving 9-4 in 2018 examinations, much higher than the national average. The department have dedicated staff and resource rooms with full facilities and space

The school are looking to cover this leave of sickness with the help of Teaching Personnel and as such you will be pay rolled via Teaching Personnel for the duration of the maternity cover. You will undertake the full responsibilities of a classroom teacher, with full responsibility for planning and marking as well as attending and organising parents evenings and department/school wide meetings.

Whilst this is originally a temporary role, there is the possibility that this role can become permanent for the correct member of staff, as such you will need to be diligent and precise in all work, and fully enthusiastic with all classroom work.

NQTs are encouraged to apply for this role and will be fully supported in a comprehensive and structured format, tailored to the individuals needs by trained mentors. The will also be able to ask for additional advise from faculty teachers in order to continuously improve on their classroom and preparation skills. Resources and lesson plans are regularly shared in the faculty.
