Job description

Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Full Time and Part Time hours considered - 39 weeks per week.This large and vibrant primary school are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work as part of there team, which is a talented and enthusiastic group of people who work well together to provide for the needs of our pupils. The successful candidate must:

  • Be willing and able to work as part of the team
  • Understand the learning and wider social needs of children who come to school with a diverse set of skills and abilities
  • Be resilient and able to maintain a professional and positive approach at all times Be prepared to take on a range of roles within the team, including providing some support for children throughout the lunch break
  • Have good communication, literacy and numeracy skills Have knowledge and understanding of phonics teaching
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of all children, in line with school expectations
  • Have relevant experience in working with Foundation Phase

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
