Job description

Spanish & French teacher required at school in Northampton

  • Teaching French to KS3 and Spanish to KS4
  • Potential to become a permanent position
  • Supportive environment with CPD available

Academy in Northampton looking to recruit a teacher of French and Spanish from September 2017. This will be a one term post initially and an excellent opportunity for a modern foreign languages teacher who has QTS or NQTS. The school is currently looking for teachers who have trained in French and Spanish, ideally able to deliver both up to KS3 and Spanish to KS4.

Due to excellent senior leaderships the school is making significant improvements shown by their latest exam results with 72% of students achieving 5 A*-C grades. Working within supportive MFL departments you will be supported with regular training opportunities and professional development.

Benefits to the Modern Foreign Languages teacher:

• Full time position from September through to December

• M1-M6 teachers pay scale

• Teaching student’s up to KS4 in preparation for their GCSEs.

To be considered for this position you will need to have QTS or NQTS and experience delivering both French and Spanish. Suitable teaching references and a fully enhanced DBS are also essential requirements of this role.
