Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC Secondary school in the West End area of Newcastle. The school are currently recruiting for a team of French Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their French department, on both full time and part time basis.

The position:

  • Full time and Part time French Graduates required
  • Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in the French department
  • Covering French lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
  • Working directly alongside the French teachers to develop activities
  • Gain invaluable experience prior to starting PGCE

The school wish to appoint French Graduate Teaching Assistants with immediate effect in order to implement support in the French department prior to the examination period. All French Graduate Teaching Assistant positions will initially be offered on a temporary basis for one term, with the opportunity to gain a fixed term contract following this.

With 1,100 pupils on roll, the school is significantly larger than average and due to this they are always looking for extra support on both a full and part time basis.

Our partner Secondary school is located in the West End of Newcastle and can be accessed via public transport - it is also reachable via all main roads from Newcastle and Northumberland.
