French Future Teacher

French graduate needed to work as Future teacher at our partner school on the Manchester, Trafford border to support the schools modern foreign languages department. The future teacher programme was created to address the national shortage of teachers coming through by providing graduates with a one year placement in a secondary school working in your specialism area for example English, Maths, Science or Languages.

As a French teaching assistant you will be supporting qualified teachers in class rooms of up to 30 students as well as assisting small intervention groups and on occasion on a 1:1 basis. As a French specialist you will provide language support to students who might not have English as their first language.

This is a full time post commencing in September 2019 and will be for the full academic year through to July 2020. You will have the opportunity to either go on to the schools direct teacher training programme or will be in a strong position to secure a place on a PGCE programme given your 1 year school based experience. Located in, Manchester the school has outstanding public transport links with a direct tram stop and regular bus routes.
