Our client Secondary School in Dukinfield, Tameside are looking for an MFL teacher to commence a post from Easter. This is a full time languages position delivering predominantly French across KS3 and KS4 with some Spanish to KS3. You will need to have experience teaching French in a UK secondary school to be considered for this modern foreign languages position.
Medium sized with around 700 students on roll the school is partnered with a couple of local secondary's with a vision to make it an Outstanding place of learning. This is a full time French and Spanish MFL post where there will be an expectation for the successful languages teacher to take on full planning and marking responsibilities to ensure students are making expected levels of progress in the final summer term.
Currently the school achieves just below national and local averages academically so there will be an expectation to try and raise attainment and pupil progress in line with their projected Progress 8 targets. There are relatively high levels of students eligible for free school meals at 29% due to the demographics of the area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced languages teacher looking for a terms MFL teaching. Located in the SK16 post code the school is located just of the M60/M67 motorways, has a train station a 5 minute walk away and direct bus routes.

French teachers interested in this position will need to attend trial days and interviews as planned by the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
