An Ofsted graded good secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking a teacher of French and Spanish to join their faculty on a full time basis. This position will be from May half term until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue.

This is a mixed 11-16 secondary school situated in Littleborough, Rochdale and is easily accessible via the M60 and M62 motorway, with a range of public transport links a short walk away from the school.

  • Full time French and Spanish teacher position, starting May
  • Get paid to scale (£22,917-£38,633 per annum)
  • Join a well established MFL department with a supportive Head of Languages
  • Large on site building with excellent facilities for students and staff

Our client school is a larger than average mixed 11-16 secondary with over 1300 students currently on roll. In recent years, there has been a restructure within the leadership team and the Head teacher has put an emphasis on the standards of teaching, learning and behaviour, this has had a positive impact on the overall performance of students. The school have put a particular emphasis on students who arrive with low grades and ensure that they make good progress in a wide range of lessons including French and Spanish.

The incoming French and Spanish teacher will:

  • Have UK QTS specialising in French and Spanish
  • Have previous experience teaching both French and Spanish up to KS4
  • Be able to plan and deliver differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Liaise with the Head of MFL on the performance of all students
