Full-time Modern Foreign Languages Teacher position available for a secondary school in Salford - January 2020 - Maternity cover.
Teaching Personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Salford who are currently looking for a dynamic French and Spanish teacher to start from January 2020. Due to a member of staff going on an early maternity leave, our client school require a fully qualified French and Spanish teacher to cover this absence and take on full planning and marking responsibility.

- Full-time French and Spanish teacher for an immediate start.
- Must have experience teaching both French and Spanish to Key Stage Three, and one subject to GCSE.
- Teaching a full timetable, across Key Stage Three and GCSE.
- Must hold QTS alongside subject specific qualifications within MFL.
- Both experienced and newly qualified MFL teachers are welcome to apply as relevant induction support will be provided.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum).
The incoming French and Spanish teacher will be required to:
- Deliver pupil centred lessons throughout the creation of comprehensive lesson plans.
- Incorporate various methods of teaching to ensure pupils are actively engaged and understand the materials clearly.
- Collaborate with senior teachers in order to establish new activities to boost students’ attainment and allocate resources correctly.
- Promote positive behaviour management and support pupils with challenging behaviour.
Our client school is based in Salford and is accessible via both the M60 and A580 from areas such as Bolton, central Manchester and Bury. For non-drivers, the school is also accessible by public transport with direct links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
