Job description

I have a school currently looking to employ a Modern Foreign Languages teacher, specifically French and German, for the new academic year. The school is in the heart of London and has a community feel to it as it is one of the few schools left in London to be based on the principles of the old Church of England schools. Previously a grammar school, it boasts a mixture of modern buildings centred round the historic setting of Westminster.

- Experience working at Secondary, KS3-4 level, is required
- Would need knowledge of the English curriculum at this level
- Pay rate for teachers is between £150-200 a day, depending on experience and qualifications
- The role is full-time; would be required to work 5 days a week, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Will need to plan, prepare and provide feedback on lessons
- This would be a temporary role, lasting between 2 terms and 1 year
Please do not apply if you do not adhere to the above requirements
Details of the School
The school is based in Westminster in the heart of London, a 15 minute walk from Westminster underground station. As such the school and staff all contribute to the community atmosphere around the school and ensure the school is a friendly and pleasant place to work.
It has been rated by Ofsted as "good," however, the new head is looking to gain an "excellent" rating in the near future. He has ensured he is surrounded with a strong and cohesive leadership so the school achieve the aims set for them.
About the role
This full time September role is available for full qualified teachers with experience teaching languages at Secondary level, KS3-5. The successful candidate is expected to be involved and uphold the ethos ensuring the students adhere and adopt these standards. The school understand the need for a life balance and would be expect to work hard during work hours, ensuring all work is completed and to the best the of the specific candidates ability. However, time to recharge and relax is afforded out of school hours, the leadership understand the need for a healthy and relaxed teacher in their school.
Location
The school is accessible via Westminster underground and is a 15 minute walk to the school.
