Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a fluent welsh Foundation Phase Primary School Teacher for a Year 1 Maternity Cover to start on the 6th of January 2020. The above post is to begin in January for two terms only. Interviews are to be held on Friday the 13th.

The role
The client school are looking for an excellent, energetic and creative Primary School Teacher to teach a group of 22 pupils in the Foundation Phase through the delivery of an effective Foundation Phase curriculum that is flexible enough to meet the needs of all learners. You will be accepted to contribute to raising the achievement, attainment and progress for all learners and to promote whole school approaches to the Foundation Phase curriculum.
The school
The Primary School has recently been reviewed and categorised as a green school- therefore doing well and in need of the least support. The primary School itself is a challenging school based in a deprived area. The school provides bilingual education for pupils aged between 3 and 11 years, however. Welsh is the main medium of learning with only about 4% of pupils come from Welsh-speaking homes. The Primary school is a one form entry and has one Resource Base maintained at the school by the local authority for pupils who have profound learning needs. They come from a wide area, namely the catchment area that feeds Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni.
Teaching Personnel are seeking a candidate who has a recognised Teaching qualification including QTS and who are registered with the Education Workforce Council. To be considered for this role, apply within!
