Foundation Phase Intervention Teacher in Barry

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Foundation phase Teacher (ideally with Year 2 experience) to join a 'Good' (Estyn rating) two form entry primary school in Barry who are growing their friendly and supportive team.

The Role :

The right candidate must hold a qualified teacher status (UK) or equivalent and have taught for a minimum of one academic year in a British or International (English Speaking) school overseas. Please note that NQTs and Overseas Trained Teachers WILL also be considered. You will mainly be a floating Intervention and PPA Cover teacher within the Foundation Phase department, providing relief and support to each class teacher when required, and Phonics/SATs booster lessons to pupils leading up to exams. This role is available for a teacher committed to work until the exam period at the end of the academic year. The school is ideally looking for a teacher able to work from Monday to Friday BUT have stated they will consider part time applications (at least 3 days per week) for the right candidate.

- You must be in possession of an up-to-date CHILD WORKFORCE DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one (full assistance provided).

- We are only able to accept applications from UK residents with a proven right to work in the UK. You must living in Barry and/or have plans to move to Barry in the near future and/or be willing to travel to the Barry area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
