Food Technology Teacher required in Leyland school

Job description

I am working on behalf of a mainstream good secondary school in Leyland who are seeking a Teacher of Food Technology from September 2018 until Easter 2019, at least.. At the moment, it is undecided whether the role will be 3 days a week or full-time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching KS3/4 Food Technology and assisting as a Food Technician during other lessons.

The school is a smaller than average school were students present good behaviour, however behaviour management skills will be essential.

To apply for this role you must have:

- Valid UK PGCE with QTS

- Specialism in Food Technology

- Commitment to a long term opportunity

- A passion for delivering Food Technology

- Recent experience teaching KS3/4 Food Technology

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
