Food Technology Teacher needed for September 2018

This fantastic Winchester based secondary school are seeking to appoint a charismatic Food Technology teacher to join their team in September 2018. This position is initially on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent beginning after the Christmas term.

The secondary school is located in the heart of Southampton and is accessible via public transportation links. The appointed Food Technology teacher will plan and deliver lessons to Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four to pupils of all abilities, with the key purpose of raising attainment and engaging pupils.

  • Delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4, and assessing their work accordingly

Our partner school has recently been rated good for their Leadership and Management, and has over 1200 pupils on roll, which is larger than the national average. The management team are looking to recruit a Technology teacher with experience teaching a number of age ranges, and pupils of all abilities with the purpose of raising attainment across the Technology department. The appointed teacher of Food Tech will have experience of strong behaviour management strategies that work well within the classroom.

Both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply for this position.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
