Food Technology Teacher
Manchester

Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Temporary, Maternity Cover, Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Food Technology to work across at our award winning partner school in Manchester. The successful applicant will have the energy, subject knowledge and creativity to inspire our students and will have experience of teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 4. This is a two term maternity cover role.

Our flagship partner school, in Wythenshawe, was winner of Secondary School of the Year (2015-16) and Healthy Living Award (2016-17) at the MEN Schools Awards, as well as being shortlisted for a national TES award in the category of 'Community Collaboration' for our mentoring project with Lloyds Banking Group. The school opened to 210 Year 7 students in September 2017 and will grow year on year until we are full in 2022. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
