  • Salary to reflect MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

Due to a staffing requirement within our client schools Design Technology department, Teaching Personnel are now looking for a Food Technology teacher to join the school on a full-time basis from September 2019. Whilst this position is temporary in the first instance, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to earn a school contract through an introduction by Teaching Personnel.

The successful Food Technology teacher will take responsibility of teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology across a range of abilities. They will join a hard-working and passionate department and will have access to excellent facilities including a well equipped food room.

Full support will be provided from the Head of Department and members of the Design Technology department. Within our client school, good design, creativity and developing good safe practical skills are at the heart of Design and Technology. Food Technology is a popular subject with students and therefore we are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject.

Our client school is a culturally diverse 11 - 16 mixed gender secondary school located in the East area of Manchester with just over 600 pupils on roll. The school is just a short drive from the city centre and is easily accessible via public transport links. The school values personal, cultural and spiritual development as well as academic success.
