Job description

Are you a dedicated and passionate Food Technology Teacher looking for your next career move? Look no further! Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School based in Leigh who are looking for a Cover Supervisor or a Teacher who specialises in Food Technology! This Secondary School are seeking talented individuals like you to join their esteemed teams and make a lasting impact on students' technological skills.


Responsibilities:
Support with delivering lessons and managing student behaviour.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help students with special educational needs or those requiring additional support.
Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor student progress and address concerns.

Requirements:
A degree relating to Food Technology, Technology, Education, or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Strong knowledge of the curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for fostering a love of literature and language among students.
