Food Technology teacher

  • Temporary maternity cover from October
  • Full time initially for two terms

Are you a qualified and suitably experienced Food Technology teacher looking for full time work next academic year? Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a large mixed secondary school in Manchester, due to maternity leave in their Technology faculty, a position has become available for a Food Technology teacher on a full time basis, commencing October 2017.

***Food Technology teacher (must have GCSE Food teaching experience)

***Temporary maternity cover starting from October half term 2017

***Full time position within a supportive well facilitated department

***Initial introduction via supply, earn up to £150 per day (MPS)

***Situated in south Manchester, excellent transport links

This maternity cover requires a Food Technology teacher with first rate subject knowledge and a dedication to ensuring children receive high standards of teaching. Food Technology is a well chosen subject within this school, due to the excellent facilities and results which compliment the department and it’s dedication to excellence. The successful Food Technology teacher will be required on a full time basis to cover this maternity leave, in the first instance you will be required for 6 months (October to Easter 2018).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
